It also has stores & dining space. Harley-Davidson Museum opened to the public on July 12, 2008, on a site in the Menomonee Valley. Harley-Davidson Museum is constructed on a 20-acre site and is surrounded on three sides by the Menomonee River. The 130,000 square foot three-building complex contains more than 450 Harley-Davidson motorcycles and hundreds of thousands of artifacts from the Harley-Davidson Motor Company's more than 100 years history. Harley-Davidson was founded in 1903 in Milwaukee and was officially incorporated in 1907, with Walter Davidson acting as the first president.
Milwaukee Art Museum is the largest art museum in Wisconsin, housing a Collection of more than 30,000 works and hosting an impressive lineup of internationally regarded exhibitions. The Collection includes 15th to 20th century European and 17th to 20th century American paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, decorative arts, photographs, folk and self-taught art.
