1. Oriole Park at Camden YardsOriole Park at Camden Yards, commonly known as Camden Yards, is a baseball stadium located in downtown Baltimore, near the Inner Harbor. It is the home ballpark of Major League Baseball's Baltimore Orioles. It was opened on April 6, 1992. This new Stadium opened in 1992 replaced the Oriole’s long-time home Memorial Stadium. Camden Yards has a seating capacity of about 45,000. The stadium was designed by architectural firm HOK Sport. Camden Yards is the first retro design ballpark.
Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine is best known for its role in the War of 1812, when it successfully defended Baltimore Harbor from an attack by the British navy. The valiant defense of the fort during the Battle of Baltimore on September 13-14, 1814 inspired Francis Scott Key to write the words that became the U.S. national anthem "The Star-Spangled Banner". Fort McHenry was first established in 1925 as a National Park and redesignated by Congress in 1939 as a National Monument and Historic Shrine. It includes the pentagonal brick fort and surrounding area of slightly more than 43 acres.
